Good to know

Questions, answered plainly

How are monthly costs estimated?

We use the project price, an illustrative down payment, a sample mortgage rate, property tax and condo fees where known. Your advisor confirms the real numbers with current pricing.

Do I pay to work with North & Key?

No. In most pre-construction purchases the builder pays the brokerage's commission, so matching and guidance are free for buyers.

Can I buy before construction begins?

Yes. Most projects sell during a pre-launch or launch phase, often years before occupancy. Deposits are usually paid in stages over 12 to 24 months.

Are prices and incentives guaranteed?

No. Builders change pricing, incentives and deposit structures often. Every figure here is illustrative until confirmed in an agreement of purchase and sale.

What about the 10-day cooling-off period?

In Ontario, new condo buyers have a 10-day rescission period after signing or receiving the disclosure statement. Your advisor and a real estate lawyer will walk you through it.
